Ol’ Buck

This is Ol Buck. Abandoned at a kind person’s property after someone asked about pasture to feed some horses. He and his paso mare friend (now ‘Serafina’) were said to have been owned by a gentleman in a nearby town, who had a heart attack over the winter and nobody was able to get in with the snow to feed the horses.

After the person ‘disappeared’, the owner of the property watched the horses get thinner and thinner and finally put a post on Facebook asking for help. This person doesn’t know horses but knew that this boy and his two friends needed HELP.

So our vice president went up with some donated feed to help out until a solution could be found. Upon seeing the Horses’ condition in person and understanding the help these horses needed, we then picked the horses up and brought them back to the main ranch. There is seven weeks between the photos. Ol’ Buck is doing great although he does have Cushing’s and is on Prascends as recommended per vet.

He has limited teeth and does need pelleted grain in addition to Alphalpha. He is looking for his next best human!

His adoption fee is $750 with approval.
Adoption Fee is waived to qualified individual.
